I picked this series up a few years ago, I think around the time vol. 3 came out in English, and every volume has had a similar bittersweet feel to it, with each volume leaving you wanting more from the story. This volume was no different in the bittersweet feeling it gives, but it also offers a decent closure for the characters. I was actually a bit worried at the end of vol. 13 when it ended with a forecasted time skip, and I still feel like there was more that could have been told. Such as Itsuki and Kazuko's wedding, their honeymoon, her pregnancy and birth, same with the other characters who went through similar situations.All in all, I feel satisfied with how this ended, with how it had a proper ending and didn't just end halfway through or leaving the reader wondering what happened after, as is very common with romance-themed series. I look forward to seeing more series from this author translated pop up in my suggestions and I hope I can get hooked on another series that fills me with pain, sadness, happiness, relief, suspense, and ultimately give a happy ending that leaves me feeling bittersweet.
